Allow windows to operate until driver exits the car when parked. Provide option for folks like me that use cruise control almost all the time to be able to leave it permanently turned on. Soft fabric that lines the back of the vehicle seems to be lower quality than rest of car...we have leather interior. Thanks for improving the navigation over 2015 Outback, which was really sub-par. Allow the driver's seat to go back another inch or two. How about an easy to use "go home" button in current map. Too many buttons to hit for this very common action. Sound insulation could be improved. USB ports are difficult to access and not enough of them. The two main ones in the front are behind a door which won't close with a USB cord in use, so leave small channels under door on each side for cord to pass through and allow door to close. Could use more room to store things like flares, tow rope, etc. Really want at least a front camera. Better still would be 360 coverage, especially for parking. Parallel parking guidance. Power lift rear door that can also be opened or closed manually. Current version freezes if someone tries to open it and pulls up. Love the 5 mph cruise control jumps. Big improvement over 2015. Make it easy to turn off display at night if not needed. I like to be able to turn the radio OFF at times. Current button basically mutes it. Loved the mute button over by steering wheel and miss it. There is so much about my Outback limited that is exceptional. These little tweaks would help make it even better.

Figure out long-range single-fob remote start and offer discounted fobs to anyone who has the current version. Add remote start to your app. When the engine is remotely started, do not shut it off as soon as the doors are opened. Allow the liftgate to be opened when the engine is running. Lock the gear shifter if the liftgate is open or the push-button start hasn't been pressed after remote start, which solves the safety issues with each better that the current implementation.

Get better infotainment software and screens that don't get lines over time. If you want people to stop texting and being distracted in the car let them or passenger operate the By Nav phone text on the screen all the time instead of being extremely distracted by why cant I do this, am I doing it wrong, car I do it with Android Auto??? Getting angry at the system then reaching for your phone anyway isn't helping its hurting!
