Like all EVs, it's so smooth to drive. Very quiet. Never going to a gas station is wonderful.
cons
The Leaf S seems to not have a battery heater installed (got to test that recently in Chicago). Since a battery heater is to keep the car running better over the long term, as opposed to a comfort / convenience upgrade, it really should be installed on all the Leafs.

For local use it is great; I'm very satisfied with it for 90% of my driving
cons
It is a problem that will probably diminish with time as charging stations become commonplace but longer trips are a problem. Fortunately, I kept my old gas-powered vehicle but that will probably be for longer than I expected. I took a trip on Thanksgiving day, 65 miles away. Going there used up roughly a third of my battery power so I expected there to be no problem. But the return trip was at night so my headlights were on and I barely made it home.
