Buy the Z for the fun of driving it, buy the Mazda for everyday driving, it's very dependable.

Great everyday car, not as fast as it looks but has great personality and remains a standard car.

Please resolve the heat issue in these cars for southern states/spirited driving, as my car got pretty hot in winter here in LA and I had an aftermarket oil cooler installed. Also consider a dual clutch or faster auto transmission, and perhaps a supercharged model.
