The Compass is definitely a big upgrade from my previous vehicle. It is my first Jeep. I love how it handles. The steering is not overly sensitive which is a plus. I actually find the seating very comfortable. Everything is within my reach. I really love the tilt/telescoping steering wheel feature. It is really awesome that you can customize the area between the speedometer and the RPM gauge. The backup camera also works very well. You wouldn't think that the space in the "trunk" area would be big since its a smaller SUV, but it is actually quite roomy. The space in the back seat is very nice too. My son who is 6'1" has no issues sitting in the back seat. He has plenty of leg space. I love the sleek look of my Compass.
cons
As for dislikes, I don't really have very many. The good outweighs the bad. The main complaint I have about the car is the acceleration response. I know it's not a race car, but it still lags a bit. My commute is mainly on the highway and the lagging acceleration gets a bit annoying when there's heavy traffic on the highway. My other complaint is the mpg range that the Compass has. You would think that it would have better gas mileage since it has a 2.4 4-cylinder engine.
