It is a good car, comfortable to drive and gets great mileage with minimum mechanical issues as long as you do the scheduled maintenance and oil changes.

If you are interested in a commuter car with good fuel economy and safety features like collision avoidance and lane change warning, the Spark 2LT might be what you are looking for; however, if you are interested in safety features like fog lamps, choose the Spark Activ, because Chevrolet decided not to equip its top-of-the-line Spark 2LT with fog lamps, even though the 2018 Spark 2LT had them installed as standard equipment! The Spark 2LT is a good little car for commuting between home and school or work as well as driving and parking in the city, but not installing fog lamps or even allowing an option to have them installed was a huge disappointment. Just like the backup camera, they are a safety feature! It would also be helpful to install a dome light in the rear of the cabin and map lights on either side of the dome light in the front of the cabin. I would gladly pay a few hundred dollars more for the additional dome lights and fog lamps. I would also gladly pay more for an engine with more horsepower, like the engine installed in the Cruze. The Spark accelerates okay from 1-30 mph, then slows down markedly.
