This is our 3rd XT5, the first two being destroyed in accidents. We purchased the XT5 with safety in mind and the two that were destroyed did their job very effectively, The first one was hit from behind at more than 85mph by a fleeing felon trying to elude police, the second was a near head-on caused by a left turn at a confusing traffic signal. In both cases the passenger compartments remained in-tact and all air-bags deployed. There were no injuries in either XT-5 other than some minor bumps and bruises. Fantastic car to feel safe in...

A little too much road noise but quieter than most other vehicles. The only one I have ridden in that was quieter with no road noise was a friend's Maybach. Considering that the Maybach cost more than six times what the XT5 cost, I can enjoy the road noise.
