I was a former Acura TL owner with my last vehicle being an Audi A6. Although I loved my Audi, I was shocked to experience an engine failure after only 120,000 miles, with no recourse. This really soured me on the Audi brand and quality. After careful and meticulous due diligence, I gravitated back to the Acura brand, with the data on the TLX becoming my focus. After test drive and more careful consideration, I pulled the trigger and purchased the 2024 model. Soon thereafter, I began to feel all the "feels" of driving a vehicle I didn't realized how much I missed. My former TL has always been my favorite vehicle. The new TLX is quickly sliding into that position.

Having found myself in the position of not being able to custom order my TLX due to the need to quickly replace a broken vehicle, there are a few items I wish were on my new TLX that it does not have - a front view camera and an electronic truck lid closer. I can open the lid electronically a couple of ways, but I have to reach inside the lid and manually pull it down. This is very inconvenient when my hands are full. As far as the front camera, there are sensors to warn of anything being approached too closely, but having a camera would help with parking in a tight spot and such.

The curve red Type-S PMC is simply stunning. It just visually blows away anything in its price range on the road. The performance is again, above what is out there at this price range.

AcuraLink still doesn’t work after being in touch with tech support for two weeks. Heads up display and 360 camera should have been included.
