The car is beautiful inside and outside. It’s comfortable for the distances that I’ve driven thus far (maximum of 56 miles each way). I love the ability to start in pure mode because I can maintain battery use on the highway on the way to work. I don’t need gasoline for my work commute.

The infotainment system distracts from being a safety-conscious car. There are too many taps involved in getting to what you want/need. The camera function for the rear is good, but don’t try to use it when parking. There are too many taps involved in getting to the front camera, so that you can see what you’re doing. There should be a front camera icon on the main screen to make it easier. The gas engine is loud when it kicks in. It lacks Apple CarPlay. The Volvo Cars app is not ready for use with the car. The App Store features and what you get are not the same.

It is a beautiful vehicle. 360degree assist is useful as is the 20 mile battery. I also like the heated string wheel.

No paper manual. Severe rear braking system, overly sensitive warning system, cannot use the backup camera in the dark- literally black!!! Frequent need to reset the system. It’s unfortunate that I am already saying this since I’ve only had the car a couple of weeks.

Fuel economy, handling, styling, and overall attention to detail. Bowers & Wilkins stereo is fantastic. Steering feels very solid, like on rails. Built in booster seats awesome for young kids.

Infotainment can be glitchy, keeps resetting to weird defaults after update. Apple car play not an option. Getting check engine light already (<3,000 mi.).
