I've been wanting an EV for years, with no regrets at all, and pleasantly surprised at how easily I switched mindsets from an ICE car.

Just small things, but after waiting for 10 months for the car, I'd really like to see the system work more smoothly.

I love how the ID4 drives. It has great handling and is very quick - not Tesla fast but remarkably good. I love the quality and features especially at the ID4 price point. I understand why many people are paying a $5-10,000 markup. The charging at Electrify America pretty much pays for the cost of the car. The infotainment system is good once you learn it - pay no attention to the naysayers. I love having an electric sunshade.

I disliked the quality of the sound system I spent $3,000 to upgrade it. With everything else such high quality, I wonder why VW didn’t give an upgrade option. The haptic controls under the center console aren’t backlit- a major problem at night. The backup camera at night doesn’t illuminate the area well. Door lock unlock isn’t easy to understand there are no buttons. I wish it had 4 window controls instead of 2. I wish the sunroof opened. I wish it had cooled seating. It would have been great to have an option for an extended-range battery.

This is the perfect car for us. Thoughtfully designed, comfortable, 280 mile range & it costs me about $4.00 to fully recharge. Estimated fuel savings around $1,500 per year,
