The transmission is the only area of disappointment. It continually searches for higher gears which is annoying. It sometimes downshifts with a clunk when I am close to a stop. I really feel some reprogramming of the computer transmission controls would be a definite improvement in the vehicle performance.

I like everything about the vehicle except the transmission. Transmission really needs to be reprogrammed. It is constantly trying to shift to a higher gear which is annoying.

I wish Toyota would consider adding an under-bed trunk like the Honda Ridgeline, and I would like to see better MPG figures.

I'd still like to see better MPG. (I would love a hybrid power plant!) I also find that the transmission is not very predictable. The shocks are a little weak and the truck porpoises a bit. Everything else is about perfect. I love the hands-free phone, and I love the backup camera. I also love the MPG center-panel data information, but there should be an option to display the tripometer MPG. The way it is set up is the most useful, but sometimes the trip numbers would be useful. It would also be nice to have a safety camera that loop records for insurance replay.

I find the vehicle solid, spirited, responsive, fun to drive, practical, and economical. It handles great. However, shifting is lurchy and the transmission could be improved. I also find the wheels always have brake dust on them.

Need to keep up with innovative ideas and trends like your competitors, Honda and Ford, etc.

Don't get Toyota to install their auto start feature, it sucks. Come up with better auto start system.
