It's well-built with very high-quality materials and craftsmanship. It's small yet roomy, comfortable and quiet. Probably the nicest subcompact car we've ever owned.
cons
The engine could use a little more power for passing. The Sport and Limited models come with the bigger 2.5 engine but I decided it wasn't worth the extra cost.

The vehicle is just right for me regarding size and ease of driving. I traded in a 2003 Forester and I think the Crosstrek has more room and is more spacious.
cons
I am surprised that some of the features that I had on my standard Forester do not come on the Standard Crosstrek such as cargo netting, cargo cover, fog lights. I must purchase them separately. I also dislike the system which turns the vehicle off when stopped at a light etc. I understand that it saves fuel, but just don't like it.
