Subaru Crosstrek Overview

The Subaru Crosstrek is a compact crossover vehicle that is previously known as the Subaru XV Crosstrek. Owner Review
I'm so thankful to now be apart of the Subaru family.

My Crosstrek is everything I've wanted in a car. This was my first adult car purchase and I really wanted a car that I felt would last a long time but really reflect my personality and how hard I've worked. I love how this car is sporty yet sophisticated but also comfortable and rugged. It really hits all parts of my personality and I'm super in love with my Crosstrek.

I think the Subaru Crosstrek is a wonderful car. It is incredibly sporty looking but also roomy and comfortable. The interior makes me feel like I am in an elegant/high-end car, but still having the benefit of incredible safety ratings and standards. I enjoy the great gas mileage, efficient handling, and reliability of the vehicle. I receive high-praise about my car and comments such as "it's a really good looking car/I love the interior detailing/This rides great/etc." This car really speaks to my personality and I love how it can fit a lot of my belongings in it but still by comfortable and express my personality.

Owner Review
The transmission is smooth except for changing from forward to reverse and back, which takes too long and is rough. Makes coming out of a parking space tricky and not much fun. Hill start assist would also be nice. Also, interface with iPhone is abysmal. Have to use hands to listen to a text, which sort of defeats the purpose of hands free. No voice to text at all, and apps are useless. Only thing that works well is audio. I am also adding on aftermarket headlight/taillight modifications and upgrading audio, which are elements I would have expected at the Limited trim level.

A bit underpowered for its class—the emphasis appears to have gone into being low emissions. Also, vehicle seemed a bit "unfinished." I had to immediately upgrade the audio, headlights, fog lights, and taillights. Interior was nice, but the lack of power seating options was unimpressive. Seating is comfortable but utilitarian.
