Back windshield is a little small

I like the exterior design, specifically the rims of the SEL model. The sun/moon roof is also a nice touch that I haven't seen in many cars nowadays. In the interior I really love the digital speedometer and the design of the seats. I also love how simple the cruise control is to navigate with just a button click on the steering wheel. There's a nob by the cupholders on the driver's right side that changes the driving mode of the car as well from Normal to Sport to Snow. I really love turning on the Sport mode while getting on the highway; it gives the car an extra bit of acceleration that gives you confidence when putting your foot down on the gas.

The part that I didn't realize was a problem until I drove across the state was the seatbelt buckle jabbing into my hip, so much so that it left a bruise. My solution to that problem was to just flip the seatbelt over before buckling, and luckily that's resolved! It's just a shame that I have to do that. Additionally, the vehicle has about 1,000 miles on it now, and I also just started noticing my brakes squeaking when I make the first corner out of my neighborhood. It never happens out on the road, only when I first turn on the car, so I'll unfortunately have to take it in to get that looked at.

It's our second, around-town car. Trips to the supermarket and hardware store, etc. So we wanted a smaller car that gets good mileage, is easy to park, and has a bit more cargo space than a sedan. We also wanted a car that was easy to get into and out of and within $20K budget. We'd rented a Venue for a week earlier this year and found that it met all of our key criteria at a reasonable price.

It's a little sluggish on acceleration and it would be nice if AWD was standard.
