The power train (2.0L engine and 6-speed automatic) needs refinement with flat spots during normal acceleration. Maybe this is a characteristic of the Atkinson Cycle version, but can be disappointing in Normal Drive mode. When Performance Drive mode is chosen, upshifts in 3-4-5 gears often lag. I use normal mode mostly because I bought the car fo ra runabout with good gas mileage. I would love to discuss this with a factory technical rep. to see if something can be done to improve this situation.

Idea fit for me in regard to size, styling, fuel economy and great warrantee along with good initial purchase price. Controls are very good with minimal complication. Yes. This car could stand more power to enhance the overall driving experience. Also as an owner in the deep south, the A/C response needs improvement.
