trailer brake underperform (adjusted to high setting does not provide enough force)- side mirror often blocks sight of traffic- very difficult to use mirrors when backing,( located too high to see trailer axle, especially backing up a hill)- no standard transmission available- Manual shift mode is often accidentally selected being located next to D. It would be nice to have a stop built into the mechanism like other trucks I have had, to eliminate proceeding locked into low gear with engine high revving and don't realize it immediately, (making me feel like a fool)- cruise control buttons are difficult to use by feel, without looking down at the buttons- aluminum panels are very thin and can dent (even if someone accidentally leans against a fender)- disappointing to see driveshaft, steering linkage and many other parts have no coatings and are rusty right off the lot- poor quality material for wheel well material, Had to purchase plastic to replace them, and they should be larger to keep out road salt - no step to climb into bed- would like the console between the seats to have the ability to slide forward and back - the heater /A.C.controls should be able to use without taking eyes off the road -the center front seat is very difficult to release the locking mechanism from the driver seat with one hand - rear wheels chatter and fishtail alot on rough gravel roads - The engine braking system seems to allow the engine to rev far beyond what I am comfortable with. The first few times it happened, I got on the brakes hard to try and get it to shift up, not knowing I was making it worse. From what I understand, the harder you get on the brakes, the higher it revs. I brought it to the dealer, thinking it was a malfunction. With the size of the A pillars and mirrors, There are terrible blind spots.
