I enjoy the superb quietness of the vehicle. Almost no road noise intrudes the cabin. Very composed ride, but still retains a sporty feel. The level of technology is excellent, as well (love the self-parking and adaptive cruise). Fit and finish seem top-notch. It is a little bit thirsty, but considering the power the engine produces, it is reasonable. Overall, I'm so pleased with this car, I'd definitely purchase it again. Make map updates more readily available for the navigation system (my 2018 new vehicle has 2 year old maps and no updates available). Issue a software update to add stop-and-go adaptive cruise since it is obvious the vehicle systems could do it.

I wished that Ford offered more features like better turbo engine, powerlift gate and built-in navigation on some of the lower versions of the Escape. I did not want leather seats and that really limited the features available.

I had an issue with the dashboard and needed it to be replaced. My dashboard was defective and it took a while for it to be fixed plus now I have another issue because I think it was not placed correctly.
