I have my sights set on a 6 series next. Will it ever come in a hard top convertible?

Performance. I do not care for the electronic steering. It's better when in 'sport' mode, but that cannot be left as the default setting, so I have to remember to place it in that mode. If I could leave it in sport mode I might feel differently. Also, the engine noise and pickup are not as satisfying as my previous car, a 335xi. The engine sounds like it's working much too hard, especially when accelerating or going uphill.

wonderful vehicle to drive- smooth and comfortable, beautiful and cares just melt away with the top down. If I had to do it again I would get the 435 instead of the 428 for the larger engine, primarily because I had that engine before and miss the power. Otherwise I probably wouldn't know better. Absolutely hate the feel of electronic steering and the electric gear shifter.

The Engine-Shut-Off feature in Econo-Pro mode is annoying. The navigator sucks. The voice recognition sucks. But these are no different from my experience with other cars. The "Auto" setting on the air flow system makes no sense - I have to adjust the temp and the fan all the time regardless of the "Auto Setting." The air flow through the vents is narrow and restricted. The doors are missing "cup style" door handles to assists with opening or closing the doors from inside the car. The cup holders are worthless for any "normal sized beverage"of today. The storage console between the seats is a joke. The menu and controls are NOT intuitive at all. But the car is fun to drive, it handles very well, it goes fast and it looks cool.

Great power and handling and fun to drive. Lots of internal noise, goofy German features (i.e. heat/cool controls, menus for setup, no panic handles, no scoop handles in doors) bad bad navigation system and map features, traffic data is terrible. Love the pre-programable buttons. The navigation/map system could easily be made better. It sucks really badly. The temp controls are stupid too. The "auto" function does nothing for temperature control and the vents are really narrow and restricting to the airflow. The doors need scoop handles or the existing handless should be much farther back. The cabin noise should be dampened a lot more.
