The M240i x drive is almost the perfect car. The full time all wheel drive with automatic was the right choice! Need to start integrating some of the driving safety features into your models as the population ages. I want to drive the car, but on those boring I95 trips on East Coast would love the automation. Mercedes almost had me with the AMG C43 Cabriolet.

Excellent road hoading ability with all wheel drive, should consider change to all season radials for New England weather. Convertible has proven to be everthing I wanted and the vehicle is comfortable in all weather conditions including snow due to heated seats, steering wheel, and outside mirrors. The Series 2 is an excellent BMW vehicle! Please do not try to make it bigger! Its beauty is in its smaller size wtih excellent power and all wheel drive. Maybe you could add the two wheel drive option like on the M series.

I resent having to spend almost $4000 for options that have no use for me in order to get the new safety features. Not only no use for, but detrimental to my driving experience with this car. I was surprised that the heated steering wheel (a wonderful invention) was still available without some other unwanted option (and there wasn't a cold package that included heated seats and steering wheel and some sort of de-icing feature)

If you have to buy options you don't want in order to improve vehicle safety, the BMW isn't for you. Though that might be true of a number of other vehicles. I loved my 1st BMW, 2011 328xi. I am furious with my 2018 230i. Having to buy a "convenience" tier in order to include safety features is my biggest gripe. I don't find the keyless key useful (if I want to open the locked passenger door I have to swivel myself around for example) and I find the controls frustrating. I think the moon roof unattractive and I haven't yet used it in spite of the fact I consider it unattractive. I used the navigation system recently and it was marginally successful (I think it directed us to the wrong tunnel and I'd like information more in advance). The parking siren is obnoxious.

Updated my vehicle from a 2008 128i conv. to the 2018 230i coupe. Also own a 2015 X3. Love the 230i. Great handling and response. Great seats and interior. Wish that it would have been equipped with park distance control. One drawback is that with 18" wheels and low profile tires the ground clearance(6.75"@front) is very low which is not friendly to curbs,snow,or transitions on steep driveways. Also the drainage system channels water to the lowerfront edge of he door where it leaves a delta of soil below the seam. Very visible on a white car. Door sills also collect the the deposit. Bought the car a month ago and noticed that the navigation system had no data or information on roads constructed over a year ago.
