Used 2016 BMW M235i for Sale in

I expected a lot and have received more from this 228i than anticipated. It is the best combination of power, handling, braking and fuel economy I've seen. My only concerns are the run-flat tires during travel times and the recent decision by BMW to lessen the warranty plan and coverage on 2017 models. Reducing the warranty mileage and coverage will most likely prevent me from replacing this car with another BMW!

We are a retired couple with no children at home. This 228i with 8 speed automatic fits our needs perfectly - great performance, braking, handling, quiet ride, excellent fuel economy (36 mpg highway), adequate luggage space, beautiful appearance (many unsolicited compliments), easy to park, etc. uncomfortable with run flat tires - would prefer a spare at the expense of luggage space. Otherwise this car is a "home run" in all other respects!

Needs a little more ceiling height. I can't fit into the driver seat with a helmet with a sunroof.

For the climate control have the fan adjust automatically based on indoor and outdoor temperature. Would be nice to have a sunglass holder in the roof in front of the sunroof.

Decide how you plan to use the vehicle first and then buy the most appropriate vehicle. I bought for a mixture of commuting, auto-crossing, and travel.

Owning an M model, I feel that more standard options should be available. Why isn't blind spot detection available on ALL models, or why don't my side mirrors auto tint at night like they used to in the 335i. I feel that safety options should be standard, and the additional options like handling and styling are what you should pay for. Other than that, I think its a great car, pricey, but it comes with a lot of performance. Im not a big fan of the drive-by-wire steering, as it doesn't provide the solid response you used to get with the hydraulic models at high speeds.
