The dashboard or “Cockpit” is faultless in its ability to blend seamlessly across the front of the cabin like a single piece of artwork. All controls are activated with just a touch. Even greater is the ability to move apps from one large screen to another. The passenger seats actually move forward or back to increase space in the rear cabin or in the trunk. The ambient cabin lighting is like mood lighting customizable to suit your energy level. It gives all the expectations of a luxury car at a reasonable price.

CHANGES!!! I owned a 2020 Q8 and was shocked to find the 2022 version with the same trim package came without some things that were previously standard. Specifically, things like the Phone Box, the SD card reader, and the most unbelievable of all, you only get ONE Car Key. Removing the wireless phone charging / signal boosting Phone Box has taken away a much celebrated convenience. Now I have to contend with phone cords and cables that I was granted freedom from in my 2020 Q8. No more loading up my favorite music on a SD Card for hours of entertainment. Finally, I will stop at ONE key. I think no explanation of this issue is needed, as this is a luxury car.
