A great car to drive - great acceleration, handling and breaking. Horrible electronic systems - blind-spot monitoring is demonstrably inconsistent. Cross-traffic audio alarm sounds only on some occasions. The car occasionally stops automatically, but for no visible reason. The car can't even project fuel consumption reliably - a tank starts at 545 miles range, and within 100 miles the tank shows 300 miles range. The basic navigation package was disappointing. Displays aren't as complete as our Toyotas, e.g. there is no way to see actual tire pressures on the A4, but is easily visible on Toyotas. Car is going to be expensive to keep up. I've taken the car to the dealer with issues like the inconsistent cross-traffic audio alarm. The service technician's response was to show that the owner's manual says the alarm "may" sound, which permits it to not sound. This missed the point that for the driver that sort of inconsistency decreases our ease and confidence in driving the car. The car has had rattles.
